Spin City’s face-to-face courses are designed for folks who prefer to learn in-person or who may not have access to the equipment or the students for their assessment. They take place at venues across the UK at weekends throughout the year.
When you sign up to a face-to-face course with Spin City you’ll get a welcome email with important course information and a digital copy of your instructor training manual. You’ll also receive a copy of the assessment book so you can take a look at what you’ll assessed on for both the theory and practical tasks.
Before the course you’ll need to watch the videos linked in the manual and look at the course information but you won’t need to answer any assessment questions until the course weekend.
The course will run over two days, usually 9am to 5pm. Prepare for a very active training weekend! You’ll need to bring you manual, training clothes and warm layers, lunch, and water. If you like to make handwritten notes, bring a notebook – you can also purchase a printed copy of the manual at cost price using the link in your welcome email.
Your tutor will guide you through the course content, answer your questions and give you feedback throughout the course. They’ll provide you with a copy of the assessment book to complete the theory questions and assess your practical skills on the course. If there’s any reason you can’t complete your assessment on course, you’ll be given the chance to send in video assessments to be marked afterwards.
On successful completion you’ll receive a certificate and digital badge to show you’re Spin City certified!
