The Spin City Advanced Aerial Hoop Instructor Course will cover the highest level of instruction in aerial hoop available with Spin City, exploring skills that will challenge students’ strength and flexibility while complex dynamic movement is introduced, including full release moves. We will cover coaching techniques for training advanced level students, further developing the concept of progress chains to empower your students.
A minimum ceiling height of 3.5 metres is recommended to enable you to complete some of the practical elements contained within this course.
The Blended Learning Course is designed to accompany your face to face training day.
Please note: Spin City courses are designed to certify you to teach adult participants over the age of 18.
COURSE REQUIREMENTS
You will need:
- To meet the minimum age requirement of 18 years or older.
- To hold a Spin City Aerial Hoop Intermediate Instructor certificate, or equivalent certificate.
- A minimum of 3 years’ aerial hoop experience (recommended).
- Access to the internet via a PC, laptop, or mobile device.
- Access to at least 1 hoop, safely rigged in an appropriate training environment.
- A minimum of 2 hours’ study/training time per week (to complete the course within the 1-year deadline).
- A confirmed booking on a face to face training day.
- Basic first aid and anatomy knowledge is also recommended.
