BEGINNER HOOP – 8-9 Feb 25 – Spin City Newbury

Event Date:

8th February 2025

Event Time:

9:00 am

Event Location:

Spin City Newbury

This two-day in-person course will provide you with the necessary skills to start teaching confident and effective aerial hoop classes for adults with a focus on fitness.

The course allows personal interaction with our qualified tutor and an in-person practical assessment.  On successful completion of the training course you will leave with a Spin City certification in basic coaching and a Spin City certification in beginners aerial hoop.

Before the course you will need to watch the online videos and read through the provided course manuals.

The weekend includes full training from one of our tutors. Over the weekend you will be assessed on what you have been taught through modular assessments.
The theory assessment is a written quiz with some multiple choice and short answer questions based on information from the course.
The practical assessment is in two parts; the basic coaching module and the hoop module.

Coaching module: you will be required to give a class introduction, teach a warm up, teach a cool down and teach one conditioning move.
Hoop module: you will be required to demonstrate a combination of five moves from the course and teach three individual moves from the course.
