The Spin City Beginners Pole Fitness Instructor Training Course will cover the fundamentals of safe and effective Pole Fitness Instruction. This course will provide you with every aspect you need to start teaching confident and effective fitness Pole Fitness classes in your community.




Number of Hours:
Online training: 20-30 hours
Learning tasks/assessment prep: 4-6 hours
Recommended practice: 50-100 hours (individual technique, attending classes, workshops, CPD, teaching and spotting practice, shadowing, co-teaching, working with a mentor and lesson observations)

Cost of Course: £295 (payment due on booking)

Pre-Requisites: Pole Fitness experience (minimum of 12 months) along with introductory knowledge of anatomy and physiology/first aid is recommended.

Assessment: This course has a two part assessment; stage 1, complete your Instructor Workbook online (theory assessment) prior to the training course. Stage 2, film yourself teaching an hour long Beginners Class. Please note: the assessment for this course should be completed using static poles.

The Spin City Beginners Pole Fitness Instructor Course will cover the fundamentals of safe and effective Pole Fitness Instruction. The focus of this course is twofold; part theory, part practical. Firstly we will give you a range of teaching and coaching techniques to make you a confident and effective instructor. This will be supported by relevant aerial theory including teaching safe progression and correct postural alignment on the pole. We will also cover the practical aspects of running your classes from how to structure your syllabus to the process of writing class plans.

The second phase of this course is highly practical in nature, as we will teach you over 100 beginners pole fitness techniques. You will learn the first part of the Spin City pole fitness syllabus, a series of strength and conditioning techniques to help your beginner’s progress and we will complete your practical training with beginners’ combinations, sequences and choreography. This course will provide you with every aspect you need to starting teaching confident and effective pole fitness classes in your community.
