The course assessment includes multiple choice theory quizzes at the end of each unit, and a final teaching assessment in which you will be required to teach a class appropriate for Foundation level students using moves provided in the course. An opportunity to submit shorter teaching and technique videos will also be provided before the final assessment for feedback from your online mentor.

Strength and Conditioning is an essential part of pole and aerial training. In this course, we will define terms, explore benefits and risks, training guidelines, principles and methods. This will be supported by practical exercises covering a range of disciplines (pole, aerial hoop, aerial silks/sling) including ground based skills.
The course assessment includes multiple choice quizzes at the end of each unit along with a short video (approximately 10 minutes) to demonstrate your practical and teaching technique to your online mentor, for which you will receive feedback. You will be required to teach a minimum of one student for the practical assessment.
